“ I recently moved here and was looking for a good bakery, Mayra’s reminds me of my hometown. Delicious concha’s & Empanadas. ”
“ Myra's bakery was outstanding. They have a big variety and everything that we got was delicious, soft and fresh. We are definitely going back again. Plus...they are open late. ”
“ Mayra's was hopping when we arrived on a Sunday, around noon. There were a handful of people ahead of me, but I received prompt service. I bought so many various pastries (empanadas, apple fritter, polverones, coconut macaroons, palm leafs, pecan shortbread cookies), costing me under $17. Got them home; they were fresh and delicious, as well as on day 2 (Monday). The coconut macaroons were amazingly moist and sticky! The ladies behind the counter were in good spirits and I'd SWEAR they had someone in the kitchen singing karaoke or "live". It was just a very nice experience and we'll definitely seek them out, again. ”
“ Their donuts and cinnamon twists are great. I usually swing by a couple times a month. They don’t have a price list, but everything’s pretty reasonably priced. ”
“ Award winning and well worth it. Definitely a gem in Kirby and they have some of the best mini donuts and cinnamon twists you could imagine. It doesn't stop there though they have pink cookies and every piece of Mexican sweet bread you can imagine. HIGHLY recommend as they are a staple and worth every penny ”
